Microtransit Public Meeting #2
Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Location: South Omaha Library, 2808 Q St, Omaha
Join us to share your comments on the introduction of a new pilot transit service in Omaha – Microtransit. Metro is hosting 4 public meetings to get feedback from members of the public.
Microtransit is like a mix between a bus and rideshare. It can help riders reach places where regular buses may not run or can connect people to bus stops or routes that are a little far from them to get to.
The meeting will be held in an open-house format.
Thursday, January 16
1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
South Omaha Library
2808 Q St, Omaha, NE
Nearby Bus Routes: 3, 13, 24
Children are welcome to attend but must remain under the supervision of a guardian. Children’s activities will be available in the same room as the public meeting during in-person meetings.
More information about the pilot service will be posted on www.ometro.com following the public meetings.
Public comments will be accepted starting Monday, January 13th through end of the day Monday, February 3rd. Comments can be submitted at meetings, through a website comment form, by calling Metro Customer Service at 402-341-0800, or by mail to 2222 Cuming Street, Omaha, NE 68102.
Spanish translation will be available at all meetings. If you need a reasonable accommodation or language interpretation other than Spanish to fully participate in one of the public meetings, please contact Dr. Alicia Johnson (she/her), Director of Civil Rights and Inclusion, at civilrights@ometro.com or 402-341-7560 ext. 2550 (TDD 402-341-0807).
