Metro announced today that bus and paratransit services will be fare-free on May 11th for the City of Omaha General Election. This marks Metro’s third Bus to Ballot initiative, having provided free rides for the 2020 and 2016 elections.

“Our mission is to connect people, places, and opportunities,” said Metro’s CEO, Lauren Cencic. “Connecting our riders to the democratic process is an important function of that mission.”
