3/19: 11 Routes move to Snow Route Option B at 7 a.m. Wednesday
With a blizzard forecast for Wednesday that is expected to make roads slick, Metro Transit will be on Snow Route Option B for 11 routes starting at approximately 7 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19th.
3 routes will be on Snow Route Option A.
IMPORTANT: Conditions could change throughout the day.
Keep a close eye on service alerts, especially if you are heading to or from Council Bluffs.
High-profile vehicles, like our buses, will not be able to go over bridges if the winds get too high. Service may be cut.
The following routes will move to Snow Route Option B. at 7 a.m.:
- Route 3
- Route 5
- Route 8
- Route 11
- Route 14
- Route 24
- Route 26
- Route 30
- Route 35
- Route 36
- Route 120
Routes 13, 15, and 55 will be on Snow Route Option A.
Note: Routes 4, 18, Blue (41), Yellow (43), 92, 93, 94, 95, 97, 106, and ORBT do not have snow routes at this time. Routes 13, 15, and 55 do not have an Option B.
