Metro to celebrate Nebraska Public Transit Week in late April

Later this April, Metro will celebrate Nebraska Public Transit Week with the community. The statewide celebration runs from April 21st through the 27th, but we’re extending our festivities this year!

Transit Week Activities

• April 20^th, 2 p.m.
  • Books + Buses with the Omaha Public Library at Gallagher Park
• April 21^st, 1 p.m.
  • Earth Day at The RiverFront
• April 22^nd, all day
  • Fare free day on all Metro services
• April 23^rd, 6 p.m.
  • Millwork Conversations at the Dock at the Ashton
• April 25^th, 10:30 a.m.
  • Books + Buses at the Omaha Public Library Charles B. Washington Branch
• April 27^th, 11 a.m.
  • Earth Day at Elmwood Park
• April 28^th, 2 p.m.
  • Books + Buses at the Omaha Public Library Downtown Branch
