K-12 Student Responsibilities
Safety is every rider’s responsibility – on and off the bus.
For your safety and the safety of other riders and Metro employees, these behaviors are expected:
During your ride
- Respect Metro employees, including the driver
- No vaping or smoking any substance
- No real or fake fighting, horseplay, yelling, or causing a disturbance
- No guns, firearms, or weapons – real or fake
- No criminal behavior
- Do not vandalize – including writing or drawing on Metro property
At Transit Centers / Bus stops
- Do not cross the street in front of the bus
- Stay out of the bus lanes and street
- No guns, firearms, or weapons – real or fake
- No vaping or smoking any substance
- No real or fake fighting, horseplay, yelling, or causing a disturbance
- No loitering or trespassing – take the first available bus you need
- No criminal behavior
- Do not vandalize – including writing or drawing on Metro property
- Respect all Metro employees, including drivers
